The Black River Retreat is set on six forested acres on the Black River with walking trails along the river and throughout the woods (snowshoes in winter) secret garden sitting areas along the trails, Screened beach cabana with lights and speakers, sandy beach at the river front with bonfire pit (kayaks in summer), second bonfire pit adjacent to love lock garden, and private cedar hot tub on your suites deck.

Two nights is our maximum length of stay

During your two night getaway, we allow you complete privacy during the day with no maintenance preformed during your stay. It is then necessary for us to hire additional staff after your stay to get caught up with our maintenance schedule, therefore increasing our costs for a two night stay.

No, we are not able to accommodate pets, companion, or service animals due to the proprietors extreme anxiety which results in panic attacks. Thank you for your kind understanding of my condition.

No. are an adults only couples resort, and liability insurance does not permit any guests under 18 years of age.

No. We do not have a gift certificate, and are not able to accept prepaid third party reservations, and require a physical credit card to process payment during a guest stay.
